OKAY that is just not fair my concentration is so retarded. Every time I suggested a creative idea to my teacher she shot it down and said it was going to be too "2-D design" and would make the judges count points off my AP for incorrect categorization. > n>

But jeeeebus these are all amazing. Each picture is beautifully composed and atmospheric, they look wonderful. <3

I actually don't think I will because of what portfolio Anderson is making me submit this under.
I have to put this under 2D Design and while the line between design and drawing is small he says, I don't trust it.

But oh well, I got my 5 last year and most schools only take ONE AP class score. So whatever, Anderson and I had a talk about me not liking my portfolio and he was like "Well, you already got your five so stop whining."

I really love how the first 5 turned out though. :]

Thanks :D

Yeah, I hear that a lot from people that their teachers shoot their ideas down and it makes me really appreciate al lthat Anderson tolerates and does for us.

But I don't think I'm going to get a good score on this sadly, because Anderson is telling me to submit this under the 2D design portfolio. While the layout is rather based on composition and design I suppose - and the line between that and drawing it pretty small when you sit and actually think about it? Yeah.

I don't think the judges are going to be lenient or smart enough to really think on it when it comes to my breadth stuff.

OH WELL. My teacher always tells me to shut up since I have my 5 from last year already, and I should shut up then.

I wish you luck in the AP exams though my friend haha personally I'm so glad we're DONE until exam day <3

Haha I'm surprised how many people are taking this class :o nice to see how many schools DO do it.

What is the subject for yours? I love hearing people's ideas since mine is so...from my head.
Last year I did my nightmares and it was a big hit at the art show so I thought I'd do something related to it again and mainly did it for thinking of illustration and animation - WHOO PANORAMIC IMAGES!

Good luck with the exams when AP day swings by haha

Yeaaah, our portfolio's breadth pieces are all extremely drawing-ish already, lots of still lifes and stuff like that...but I've always been more of a 2D person so it's difficult for me to stay "within guidelines" which I think are complete bull. It's really frustrating. x_x But it's hard to argue when my teacher really knows what she's doing, like last year the top AP portfolio in the nation came from a girl from my school. STUPID STANDARDS.
YESS we are almost done, I only have two more concentration pieces due (like next week ahdgjkg) until we have our art show and then we're dooooonnneee! Then AP exams. Joyous.
Best of luck to you, too.
