An image my friend Brandon and I were tossing around the idea to for a year or so now. I just decided to finish it this year for my portfolio. The image was part of a trade with Brandon even. For me to illustrate him as this wooden creature we envisioned whilst listening to the song Treefingers by Radiohead. It's not their strongest instrumental but it is kindof calming.

He stated seeing a vision of a man trying to prove others wrong, going off on his own, only to be proven in a wasteland that he is wrong. And when confronted with this truth he slams his hands in the dirt screaming, pounding at it. As he does this, roots begin to captivate him and take over his hands as he rips away, it turns his hands to tree and the rest of his body follows, face ripping from the gasm mask saving him.

He becomes another dead tree in the barren wasteland.
